MY FM is a major radio station in 7 cities throughout mainland China. MY FM chose eggplantdigital to totally redesign their website from the ground up, and simplify the design and content structure for a beautiful user experience.

Approach

One of the biggest challenges facing eggplantdigital was to launch the website across seven different cities across China. The information for each city was to be different, as was the web-address and different local audiences. Thus, prior to the start of the website design, a lot of work was undertaken for the planning & wire-framing By understanding MY FM’s audience, content requirements and preferred design style, we set about creating a consistent graphic design targeted at 15-25 year old age range. eggplantdigital set to work on a slick, entertaining, tidy and modern design for the station.

The Future

In early February, MY FM began the city-by-city launch. New layout, new functionalities and new design mean their existing listeners will feel refreshed and gain access to brand new functionalities. For brand new listeners, it means a simple-to-use interface to the radio station in their home city and fast streaming of online radio player.
