Monthly Report

Each month we will provide you a detailed report about your websites progress. This include a number of different statistics, and reminders on actions taken to support and maintain your WordPress website.

Production Updates Vs. Staging Updates

An updated website is a secured one. Production updates are WordPress core, theme and plugin updates performed directly on your live website. Staging updates are performed first on a separate staging environment for Enterprise clients with mission critical sites.

Client Review Cycle
After any updates are performed on the staging environment, Enterprise Support clients receive time to review the updates with their team. By allowing for a 4-5 day client review cycle, everyone involved in the process can come together to communicate if there are any issues that need to be addressed through our Support Hours Program or if approval can be given to push the updates to the live production website.
Version Control
Gitlab or Github is used to track and maintain changes made to the code, so that all team members can see work on the same website simultaneously without a clash of code, ensuring smooth collaboration.

What's included in your website edits?

Website edits do include edits to content, changing plugin settings and CSS adjustments. They do not included custom development (PHP, plugins, themes, etc), updating custom code, graphic design, PSD to WordPress or building out a new website or subdomain.

Do you offer 24/7 technical support?

Our support hours are 9 AM – 8 PM China Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Any support tickets submitted during off-hours are immediately attended to during our regular support hours.

What happens if my site is hacked?

Eggplant Digital continuously monitors customer sites using ongoing security scans. In the event a security issue does occur, our goal is to respond immediately within business hours.

In the event your site is hacked, we have a One-Time Hacked Site Cleanup & Repair service available for $99.

What are the best ways to contact you for support?

We do everything we can to make it as easy as possible for you to get in touch with us for support. You can also send a direct email to us, anytime, to: support@eggplantdigital.cn or use the  or if you are an existing client, login to your WordPress site and visit the Eggplant Support tab in your Dashboard.

How does your technical support work?

We use support tickets in lieu of phone calls. We strive to make sure all communication is documented and extremely clear; we’ve found that this makes it easier for our entire team to know what’s going on with your site.

How do I downgrade or cancel my support plan?

In order to start the support plan downgrade process, please fill out our contact form. Our staff will reach out to you and provide instructions.
