Background

Thales Group is a French multinational company that designs and builds electrical systems and provides services for the aerospace, defence, transportation and security markets. Eggplant Digital was asked to step in and take over management of the China-based Aliyun server for the Chinese website and provide support to the China team.

Solution

Eggplant was asked to take over and manage the Aliyun Cloud server in order to provide a quicker response team for the China office. This has included management and monthly reports for the server, and website. As well as providing day-to-day support for updating content, creating landing pages, fixing bugs and other general maintenance tasks from our online helpdesk for the Thales marketing team.

Results

Since taking over management of the server and website, we have successfully implemented several large updates to the site, provide maintenance care for the Aliyun Cloud server, ensuring the website has kept online and recently merged the website for a new acquisition – Gemalto into the main Thales China website.
